Mountain Goats and Bighorn Sheep - # - Nature and Wildlife Phtotography by Tom Blandford

I consider Mountain Goats and Bighorn Sheep to be iconic mountain denizens. They move gracefully and sometimes with great speed through impossibly steep and rough terrain. They are extremely well adapted to to some of the harshest environmental conditions and toughest habitats. I've seen both of these species balancing on impossibly narrow ledges and negotiating mountainside terrain where a single slip or misstep could be fatal. Though Mountain Goats and Bighorn sheep make striking photo subjects, they are also just fun to watch.
