Mountain Goat, Mount Evans Colorado
The temperature at the top of Mount Evans was about 19 degrees and the wind speed was about 30 miles per hour (note the fur on the goat's chin and chest). These creatures are so well adapted to these conditions, that they made no attempt to find sheltered areas. When they decided to lay down, they would do so in the most exposed spots, often the highest points (maybe a predator defense).
